Datta's 'Shadow Assassins' is a dark tale based on gruesome true events in Assam. Finchbill Motion Pictures, founded by Datta along with Navnitaa Sen, Rahul Kapoor andSid Mahajan, are the production house for the crime thriller loosely based on the secret killings of Assam in the 90s. It was released on the big screen in India on December 9, 2022 and is set to hit Singapore cinemas on February 9, 2023.
The film features a versatile cast and crew from India and Singapore, including Anurag Sinha, Hemant Kher, KP Sandhu, Rakesh Om, Rohit KP, Monuj Borkotoky, Violet Nazir Tiwari, Ranjita Boruah.
Singapore-based actor and show host KP Sandhu, who said he was excited about exploring the depths and complexity of his character, also has a significant role in the film.
