ZEE5 Global is gearing up to release its new Telugu original series, Mothevari Love Story, which will premiere on August 8. This seven-part series, directed by Shiva Krishna Burra, promises a mix of drama, comedy, and culture set against the vibrant backdrop of rural Telangana.
Starring Anil Geela and Varshini Reddy Junnuthula in lead roles, the story revolves around a family whose secrets trigger a series of hilarious and emotional events, all starting with one marriage that turns into everyone’s business.
Produced by Village Show Movies, the series is set to stream across more than 190 countries.
The makers unveiled the official poster and title of the series at a special event held on July 9, where actor Anand Deverakonda officially launched the poster.
Speaking at the event, Anand said, “I’ve witnessed Anil’s journey from his early days as a YouTube creator with My Village Show to now stepping into the spotlight as a lead actor. Back when I was preparing for my own debut, I studied the Telangana dialect by watching their content; they may not have known it, but it helped me immensely. That’s why I’m truly happy to be here today, supporting and being part of this next chapter in his journey.”
The plot centers around two brothers in a lively Telangana village who find themselves in turmoil after their late father’s will reveals that five acres of land were left to a mysterious woman. What begins as a land dispute soon turns into a hilarious love story when the brothers’ children, who are secretly in love, get caught in the middle. With pride, property, and romance all at stake, the series unfolds with plenty of chaos and unexpected twists.
