The much-awaited sequel of the 2006 hit movie The Devil Wears Prada will hit the theatres next year, makers announced on Friday.

As per a report published in Variety, the movie will release on May 1, 2026.

Though it was reported last year that Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt would be returning, no cast members have been officially confirmed, reported the magazine.

Stanley Tucci, who starred in the first movie, recently told Variety, “I know they’re working on it. If it happens, I would be so happy, but I cannot give you any information. Otherwise, I’ll go to the actor’s prison or something. [The original] was one of the best experiences ever.”
