Madame Tussauds London redresses Trump wax statue in golfing attire after election defeat

Madame Tussauds in London has decided to make a change to their wax statue of US President Donald Trump following his loss in the presidential election. The museum has taken the statue out of its presidential attire and redressed him in golf clothes.

Gone are the Trump statue’s blue suit and he now sports patterned golfing trousers, a purple-coloured top, golf shoes and of course, the red Make America Great Again hat.

“His campaign may not have been a hole in one, but @realDonaldTrump is now on course to dedicate more of his time to his favourite sport as #MadameTussaudsLondon re-dresses his figure in golfing attire to reflect his potential 2021 wardrobe” read Madame Tussauds London’s Twitter post.

The outfit seems particularly apt as Trump was busy playing golf when the results of the elections were announced on Saturday.

Prior to the elections, Madame Tussauds Berlin had put their Trump waxwork in a massive dumpster and mounted boards around saying “You’re fired” and “Fake News!”
