Popular Indian lyricist Manoj Muntashir Shukla and acclaimed singer Pratibha Singh Baghel are all set to mesmerise Singapore with their upcoming show Jashn-e-Bahar. The much-awaited performance will take place at the iconic Esplanade Concert Hall on September 11 from 7:30 PM SGT.
In a candid conversation with me, the duo shared their excitement and passion behind the show. Jashn-e-Bahar, which translates to “celebration of spring”, is more than just a concert — it’s an ode to the beauty of poetry, music, and heartfelt emotions.
Known for penning soul-touching songs like Teri Mitti, Manoj is bringing his poetic genius to the stage in a format that promises depth and emotion, while Pratibha, whose voice has captured hearts across the globe, will mesmerise the audience with chartbusters.
Speaking about the concept, Pratibha said, “It’s like a marriage of poetry and music.”
The concert promises an evening filled with soul-stirring ghazals, nazms, and poetic verses, all curated to take the audience on a nostalgic yet fresh journey.
While the duo kept some surprises under wraps, one thing is certain — Jashn-e-Bahar will be a unique blend of melody, poetry, and storytelling.
