After a lot of hype, the second song trailer for Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s latest flick Jab Harry Met Sejal hit the wires last night and was devoured by hungry fans. Part of a sustained promotion campaign, the latest tidbit from the Red Chillies Entertainment production added to the rich backstory of the movie.
The second song from the movie, Beech Beech Mein, is set in a club, and shows Harry (Shah Rukh Khan) and Sejal (Anushka Sharma) dancing, karaoke and partying while on the hunt for Sejal’s engagement ring.
The trailer promo states: “The story revolves around Harry and Sejal’s journey across Europe. A search for Sejal’s engagement ring makes Harry understand love and relationships better. Sejal experiences new found freedom, security and solace in Harry’s company. And in between all of this… there is love, life, lies. thrill, fantasy and the voice within.”
The song is an upbeat dance number with scenes from the movie interspersed with the actors lip-syncing to the song. The release combines a trailer and a music video for the audience to get a two-in-one treat.
The song was released in an unusual manner by stars Shah Rukh and Anushka club-hopping across Mumbai, and they plan to keep on doing so. The #BeechBeechMein has gone viral as well.
