A video filmed from a public road outside a five-star hotel in northern India’s Rajasthan has gone viral on social media, leading to growing concerns over privacy violations and voyeurism.

The footage, reportedly captured from a flyover near the Holiday Inn hotel in the 22 Godown area of Jaipur city, shows a couple engaged in an intimate moment inside a hotel room, visible through a large, uncovered windows.
The incident is said to have taken place around 10 pm on Tuesday, June 17. According to media reports, individuals passing by noticed the couple from the road and began recording the scene.
One of the videos was later widely circulated on social media platforms. In the background of the footage, voices of onlookers can be heard shouting and using inappropriate language, which reportedly attracted more people to the spot and caused a brief traffic jam outside the hotel.
The circulation of the video has sparked a wider conversation about privacy and the legality of filming individuals without their consent, particularly through the windows of private property.
Although the identity of the couple remains unknown, several users online have pointed out that such recording may fall under violations of Indian privacy and cyber laws, irrespective of the couple’s relationship status.
Legal experts have also noted that capturing and sharing such content without consent could lead to penal action under provisions related to voyeurism and invasion of privacy in Indian law.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether any formal complaint has been filed in connection with the video.
