Indian company to send farm fresh milk to Singapore

Indian dairy company Parag Milk Foods will now be delivering premium, farm fresh milk from India to Singapore. The FMCG company announced yesterday that its farm-to-home milk brand ‘Pride of Cows’ will now be available in the island nation. The company claims to be the first Indian company to sell fresh milk in Singapore.

“As the consumption of fresh and organic milk has increased in Singapore, consumers have become mindful of the source of the milk they consume and its nutrient content and we believe that there is a dearth of such products in the country. We have identified a huge opportunity for expansion there,” Devendra Shah, chairman, Parag Milk Foods Ltd, said.

This brand of milk is obtained from the Pune-based dairy farm Bhagyalaxmi Dairy, which has 3,800 Holstein Friesian cows and launched in India in January this year. The milk will be airlifted from the dairy farm located in Manchar, near Pune to Singapore every day and will initially be available through various home delivery platforms.
