Indian actor Adil Hussain has joined the star cast of the American web series Star Trek: Discovery joining actors Doug Jones, Sonequa Martin-Green, Anthony Rapp, David Ajala, Wilson Cruz, and Michelle Yeoh.
Hussain is seen briefly in a new trailer shared by the makers on Twitter of the series set in a fictional world 930 years into the future. The trailer was first launched at the New York Comic-Con on October 5.
Hussain has worked in films like The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Life of Pi, English Vinglish and Kabir Singh among others.
The third season of Star Trek is slated to premiere next year.
