The Chief Minister met Yusuff Ali, Chairman of Lulu Group and invited him to participate in the Himachal Pradesh Global Investors Summit, scheduled to be held later this year.

“I visited Lulu hypermarket during my stay in the UAE. There were special sections of produce imported from India, especially apples and other fruits. Clearly, Dubai investors would make investments in the field of agriculture and horticulture and this would benefit our farmers,” Thakur tweeted in Hindi.

“It was very interesting and enlightening meeting with the Chief Minister of the very beautiful and unexplored Himachal Pradesh, a state with lots of opportunities,” said Yusuff Ali expressing his views on the meeting.

On the evening of June 25, the Chief Minister and his delegation will hold a roadshow called “Rising Himachal: Global Investors’ Meet 2019” at an event being organised by the Indian Business and Professional Council, Dubai.
