Grab apologises for outage caused by “underlying infrastructure”

Grab apologised for a major outage on its app that happened on Tuesday, Apr 3, from 8pm.

Grab customers and drivers across several South-east Asian countries were affected, according to a report by Todayonline.

"We apologise that users were not able to use our services (on Tuesday)," said a Grab spokesman. "The app was down due to problems with our underlying infrastructure, and our third-party infrastructure providers are immediately fixing the problems on their platforms."

The affected countries were Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
