Five things to do over the weekend of June 17-18

International Day of Yoga falls on June 21, which is next Wednesday. So this weekend, get ready to meet fellow yogis at 50 over locations in Singapore that are offering free yoga classes! 

Practise mindfulness beyond the mat as well at the first birthday event for Silent Disco Asia. Partying has never been quieter. Alternatively, head to Esplanade's philanthropy initiative Mural of Dreams for an afternoon of fun, family-friendly handicraft workshops.

Remember The Wanted? After the band broke up, youngest member Nathan Sykes sought to re-introduce himself as a musician through his solo debut.

He will headlining Serangoon Garden's annual rooftop concert, A Rooftop Affair. This will be his debut solo performance for fans in Singapore and Nathan Sykes will hold an exclusive signing session after the show.

Beloved by children and adults all over the world, the story of Hansel and Gretel has inspired many adaptations for the stage.

In this adventure for the whole family, Orchestra of the Music Makers is joined by an international and local cast of singers for this semi-staged concert performance, the Volare Treble Voices by Darius Lim, directed by Edith Podesta and conducted by Chan Tze Law.

Come, venture into the forest for an unforgettable, fun-filled performance.

There are child-friendly workshops and fuss-free activities from clay-making, screen printing and shrink arts to doll-making, scented candle-making and knot crafting!
