2. Family Fun at the National Museum

Enjoy family time at the National Museum of Singapore every last Saturday of the month! The fun line-up of activities includes interactive tours, storytelling sessions, drop-in craft activities and more.

June's theme is 'Ancient Tales of Southeast Asia'. Grandmother storyteller Jessie Goh will take the kids to various ASEAN countries through fascinating folktales, after which they can visit the drop-in craft station to create finger puppets of the story characters.

3. Singapore Art Book Fair

This independent multi-day festival specialises in contemporary art books and zines. It will feature art books, art catalogues, monographs, zines, and printed ephemera. Over the course of the weekend, the fair will be complemented by a range of art-related fringe activities.

4. Outdoor music and dance showcase

Esplanade Outdoor Theatre will see an array of energetic and creative dances from different genres, ranging from ethnic to contemporary dances, performed by schools across Singapore, as well as a guest performance by a dance ensemble from Thailand.

Be treated to a spectacular musical showcase featuring a variety of music performances including a collaborative presentation by Anglo-Chinese School (Barker) Chinese Orchestra and St. Margaret’s Secondary School Rhythmic Gymnastics team.

5. Spoken Word (A Poetry Recitation)

Spoken Word (A Poetry Recitation) at the library@esplanade features readings of students’ original poems, some of which will be accompanied by music. Go on a journey with eight students from our secondary and junior college levels as they explore the theme of Identity through family, friendship, relationships, history, popular figures, and even time travel.
