There are no public holidays in July, so rest as much as possible on the weekends!

1. Downton Abbey: The Exhibition

Based on the beloved television show, Downton Abbey, the exhibition will take you on a journey, which sees both the characters and iconic house come to life. 

Bursting with social history, culture and of course some of the most memorable moments from the show’s six series run, there is something for everyone.

Be transported to a post-Edwardian England as you step inside the showroom.

2. Transcend: 50 Years of Singapore Modern Art

Transcend is an art exhibition by 12 eminent second-generation artists who were responsible for defining, initiating and propelling the development of modern art in Singapore, between the early 1960s to 1980s. 

Through a chronological juxtaposition of over forty selected works from 1950s to 2017, this exhibition showcases representative works by the artists and traces the development of Singapore modern art from its formative years to its present state.

3. Fitness Marathon 2017

The 2017 Fitness Marathon aims to set up a new record at the world's largest trampoline class, so join in the fun! There will also be interesting classes like Salsation, Fight Do, Piloxing and Zumba.

4. Jazz Fusion Night: Cold Cut Trio, Welly Tjandra Trio and Jia Rong Quartet

Created in the 1960s and still popular today, jazz fusion is an exciting genre combining the energy of rock, funk, R&B and even Latin rhythms together with harmony and improvisation of jazz. 

Jazz in July puts the spotlight on three exciting bands that showcase both standards and original fusion jazz compositions—Cold Cut Trio, Welly Tjandra Trio and Jia Rong Quartet.

5. A Bigger Bang – A Percussion Recital

Bridging the traditional and contemporary, Singapore percussion ensemble A Bigger Bang fuses traditional Chinese percussion music with modern concepts and approaches.

Experience a concert filled with energy, excitement and variety with notable works including Peking Opera music piece Havoc in Heaven, Guo Wen Jing’s Parade, Luo Tian Qi’s The Southern Clouds and many more!
