Join storyteller Kamini Ramachandran in an immersive experience that makes use of scents to draw out memories – both yours and of traditions and stories that stretch far back in time. 1. Yajnaseni – The Eternal Flame
Does your dharma take priority over your emotions?
That is a question that Draupadi, heroine of the Mahabharatam, silently faced. Yajnaseni gives voice to this private, internal struggle, exploring the shades of grey between what is right and what feels wrong; between one's duty and one's feelings.
With Sri Hari Padman (choreographer) and Sri O. S. Arun (music composer) adding their genius, this dance-theatre production by Meera Balasubramanian (Director, KFA) brings to light the heart-wrenching struggles Draupadi went through on her path to uphold dharma.

2. Bharatanatyam Dance Workshop
Explore the ‘Sound of Dance’ with Nikita through Bharatanatyam. The workshop is designed to allow participants to experience dance as the source music, rather than as an accompaniment to music. It is suitable for beginners and all age 12 and above. Comfortable clothing is advised for all participants.

Inspired by Little India’s historical sense of community and gathering together over food, Kamini would like to recreate this experience for audiences. When the storyteller comes and sits at your table, it is time to put away your devices and listen.
When people talk over meals, a flurry of emotions and memories arise. Kamini will bring diners through the history of Little India and the pivotal role of eating, gathering and conversation, especially among migrant communities. Audiences will be treated to a story connected to the spices and ingredients used by the chef for the meal.
