2. Parasite: What is Bong Joon-Ho telling us about Inequality?

Founded earlier this year, The Philosophy of Life is a group invested in making philosophy practical, simple and fun for all Singaporeans to learn.

In this pop culture meetup, the group shall explore inequality in the context of the Oscar-winning film “Parasite” by South Korean director Bong Joon-ho. Look forward to an exciting discussion on the morality of capitalism and the dilemmas of “Robin Hood” ethics of stealing from the rich in favour of the poor.

3. Painting with Light | Iswanto Soerjanto

Painting with Light, an exhibition by Indonesian artist, Iswanto Soerjanto, is his first solo presentation in Singapore.

Known for his use of camera-less photography as a medium of art-making, Iswanto utilises the principles and the materials of photography but without the presence of the camera as a device to capture the image.
