Enjoy comfortable taxi rides with candies and free Wi-Fi in Singapore

If you want to have a comfortable ride complete with candies, free Wi-Fi and a charging cable for various i-Phones and Android mobile phones, then board the ComfortDelGro Taxi driven by Cabby Abdul.

This taxi has become the talk of the town in Singapore thanks to the driver’s thinking about the need of his passengers and putting them first.

It seems that the aim of chauffeur Abdul is to bring smiles to the faces of his passengers. He said, “I have these items in my taxi since I started driving with ComfortDelGro two years ago. They don’t cost much and I’m glad that this small gesture has made my passengers smile.”

The attitude of Abdul is commendable amidst a lot of complaints about poor taxi or ride-hailing services, higher petrol prices and drivers’ bad attitudes.

ComfortDelGro was proud to feature him on their Facebook page, something the taxi company does not do very often.

Well, there are also drivers in private hire cars or ride-hailing services that offer services from their own to make the ride of the passengers comfortable.

There’s a Grab driver in Malaysia who offers drinks and biscuits in his car, which come free with the ride. There’s also a Grab driver in Singapore who has drinks in cans (including beer!) and even cigarettes that come with the ride.

Well, you are quite lucky if your chauffeur happens to be like these kind-hearted persons who offer such free services.
