The livewire weekend event Festival of Indian Arts and Ideas will be held at The Victoria Theatre and The Arts House on April 27 and 28.

The event will be produced and curated by Maniza Jumabhoy, Founder, Limelight Arts and Preeti Dawra, Founder, The Art of Communications.

You may catch Mallika Sarabhai, one of India's foremost dancers and choreographers speaking on the power of myth in moulding a civilisation's identity, humanity and politics and Sunita Kohli, globally acclaimed heritage architecture restorer and designer, on how Indian art, architecture, design, and cuisine have shaped the subcontinent's syncretic culture.

Dharmacharya Shantum Seth, a writer, pre-eminent Buddhist teacher and scholar, will be speaking on the art of Buddism and leading Buddhist pilgrimages in India.
