The flight was originally scheduled to depart around 8.35 p.m. on August 1, but it was rescheduled for the following day, leaving passengers stranded at the airport.

Giving a big shoutout to the initiative and its main organiser Ray of Hope, the minister posted on Instagram: “Flagged off Walk for Hope early this morning at SJI! Walk for Hope is a fundraiser for Ray of Hope, a crowdfunding charity for underserved communities. Every step we take supports Ray of Hope’s vital work helping those in crisis, like seniors, single parents, children, and migrant workers.”
