Actor Rishi Kapoor sent his Twitter fans into a tizzy when he posted a sepia-toned photo with a caption that read, “Need you to tell me who this person is."
He was of course flooded with various guesses, including some that said the picture was of his grandmother Ramsarni Mehra Kapoor (Prithviraj Kapoor's wife).
But netizens were shocked when Rishi Kapoor revealed the answer.
Hard to believe as it is, the picture is indeed that of the legendary actor, the late Pran, who was known for some memorable roles in Bollywood films, mostly as a villain, from the 1940s through to the 1990s.
There were many Twitter users who actually got the answer right, including one who even had an anecdote to share about Pran disguising himself as a woman.
The user tweeted to Rishi Kapoor saying, "This is legendary actor Pran. At his elder brother's wedding, he surprised his newly married Bhabhi (sister-in-law) posing as brother's lover. Heard this photo was shared by his son Sunil Sikand."
Rishi Kapoor worked with Pran in a number of movies, including Bobby, Amar Akbar Anthony, Karz, Naseeb, Bade Dil Wala, Duniya, Zehreela Insaan, Guru Dev, Zinda Dil among others.
