Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan surprises unsuspecting strangers at Dubai’s hottest attractions in the latest tourism video that has hit the cyberspace. If bumping into the megastar while you’re out and about town seemed like something ever so impossible – feed your imagination with the #BeMyGuest video by Visit Dubai!

The 3 minute, 12 second ad published on Visit Dubai’s YouTube account opens in the Spice Souk in which Shah Rukh is covertly dressed in a black hoodie as he strolls among unsuspecting visitors sampling spices. With a coy smile, he turns to the camera and says, "This is my Dubai. Come with me".

Shah Rukh springs more fun, surprise visits on tourists in the video by taking part in an array of activities ranging from jogging to sky diving, and even serves customers at a restaurant. Understandably people are shell shocked when they realise that they have engaged with the Badshah of Bollywood. All beautifully captured in the video.

“Dubai offers endless experiences that stay with you forever. Whatever you want to do – an adrenaline-fuelled adventure like skydiving or a desert safari or a delicious culinary experience of tantalising flavours – and whether you’re travelling with family, friends or as a couple, this city truly offers a complete holiday experience,” Shah Rukh, who even has a house in the country, said in a statement.

He said working with Dubai Tourism has helped him “rediscover this inspiring city in a whole new way”.

As one of Dubai Tourism’s series of upcoming initiatives with Bollywood, it emphasises on nurturing the connection that Dubai has with India.

Commenting on the collaboration, Issam Kazim, CEO, Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said, “Shah Rukh Khan truly represents the beautiful relationship that Dubai and India share.’

The film was released across various Dubai Tourism channels. It is the part of a campaign that includes a series of short films that kick off a year-long campaign of multiple Dubai Tourism projects in collaboration with Bollywood.
