Sony Pictures Entertainment India has roped in popular Indian actor Ajay Devgn and his son Yug Devgan for the Hindi dubbed version of the upcoming Hollywood film Karate Kid: Legends. The much-awaited film is set to release in theatres across India on May 30 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

This marks the first-ever voiceover collaboration between Ajay and Yug, making it a significant milestone in their careers. Ajay Devgn lends his voice to the iconic character Mr. Han — originally played by global action legend Jackie Chan — while his son Yug makes his debut by voicing the film’s young lead, Li Fong, portrayed in the original version by Ben Wang.
The real-life bond between father and son brings an added layer of emotional depth to the film’s central theme — the mentor-protégé relationship.
This also marks Ajay Devgn’s first voiceover role for an international project in a career spanning over three decades.
Set in New York City, Karate Kid: Legends follows the story of kung fu prodigy Li Fong, who must navigate life in a new school, form unlikely friendships, and face off against a fierce local karate champion.
Under the guidance of his teacher Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) and the legendary Daniel LaRusso (played by Ralph Macchio), Li embarks on a powerful journey of self-discovery, discipline, and growth.
