Abu Dhabi partners with UNESCO, Google to host Culture Summit 2020

Abu Dhabi is all set to welcome leaders from fields as diverse as arts, design, heritage, media, museums, public policy and technology at Culture Summit 2020, scheduled to take place from April 5-9. 

The Summit is organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi in collaboration with global partners the Royal Academy of Arts, UNESCO, the Guggenheim, The Economist Events and Google who each curate and lead based on their specific area of expertise. 

As in earlier editions the 2020 Culture Summit too aims to be a forum of knowledge exchange, debate and policy development. Registration for the summit are now open.

In the past the Culture Summit forums have convened leaders from a variety of fields to identify ways in which culture can transform societies and communities worldwide.

Last year, the summit welcomed more than 480 participants from 90 countries, and presented a series of expert-led panels and workshops on art, museums, cultural heritage, media and technology. 

The organisers are partnering once again with leading international arts, technology and media organisations, to bring cultural leaders, artists  and performers to Abu Dhabi.
