Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who turned 60 earlier this month, will have his name emblazoned on a skyscraper in Dubai, media reports said.
The 55-storey commercial tower, named Shahrukhz by Danube, will be built by Danube Group along Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road. The project was unveiled at an event in Mumbai on Friday, attended by Khan himself.
Reacting to the announcement, Khan described the project as humbling. He wrote on Instagram: “It is humbling and deeply touching to have a landmark in Dubai carry my name and to be an integral part of the cityscape forever. Dubai has always been a special place for me- a city that celebrates dreams, ambition, and possibility.”
He added: “Shahrukhz by Danube – this Commercial tower is a symbol of how far belief and hard work can take you. I’m honoured to be associated with @DanubeProperties, a brand that mirrors the same spirit of aspiration and excellence.”
The 1-million sqft tower, with prices starting from Dh1.7 million, is slated for completion in 2029 and aims to become a global address for entrepreneurs, innovators, and fast-growing businesses, reported Khaleej Times.

The structure will reportedly feature a statue of Khan in his iconic pose at its entrance. Khan, who calls Dubai his second home, was among the first Indian actors to own property in the emirate and also owns a lavish villa, Jannat, in Palm Jumeirah, the newspaper reported.
