Following the abduction, the Ministry of External Affairs of India expressed deep concern and strongly condemned the violent act.

The Government of India has called upon the authorities in Mali to take all necessary steps to ensure the safe and early release of the kidnapped Indian nationals. Senior officials in New Delhi are closely monitoring the situation and remain in constant touch with their counterparts in Mali.

The Indian Embassy in Bamako is in close communication with the Malian government, local police authorities, and the management of the Diamond Cement Factory. The embassy is also providing regular updates to the families of the abducted individuals and is coordinating with them for any assistance required.

The Ministry has reaffirmed that the safety and security of Indian nationals living and working abroad is a top priority. It has also issued an advisory for all Indian citizens in Mali, urging them to remain cautious, stay alert, and be in regular contact with the Embassy for updates and support.
