4 more COVID-19 cases discharged, 2 more confirmed

Four more cases of COVID-19 infection were discharged from hospital on Wednesday, February 26, bringing the number of fully recovered cases  in Singapore to 62.

Of the 31 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, most are stable or improving. Seven are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed two more cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

Case 92: A 47 year-old male Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to China. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on February 26 and is currently warded in an isolation room at Sengkang General Hospital.

Case 93: A 38 year-old male Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to China. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on February 26 and is currently warded in an isolation room at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

As of 2pm on February 26, MOH has identified 2,848 close contacts who have been quarantined. Of these, 259 are currently quarantined, and 2,589 have completed their quarantine.
