4 COVID-19 cases discharged, 3 more infected in Singapore

As of 2pm on Thursday, February 27, Singapore has confirmed three more cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 96. 

Of the new cases, two are linked to previous cases.

Meanwhile, four more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospital. In all, 66 have fully recovered from the infection. Of the 30 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, most are stable or improving.

Eight are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Case 94: A 64 year-old female Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to China, Daegu and Cheongdo. She is currently warded in an isolation room at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).

The woman reported onset of symptoms on February 11 and had sought treatment at a general practitioner (GP) clinic on February 17, 20 and 24. She was referred to SGH on February 24 and subsequent test results confirmed COVID-19 infection on February 26.

Prior to hospital admission, she had mostly stayed at her home in the Jalan Jurong Kechil area.

Case 95: A 44 year-old male Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to China, Daegu and Cheongdo. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on February 27, and is linked to Case 93.

Case 96: A 12 year-old male Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to China, Daegu and Cheongdo. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on  February 27, is a student at Raffles Institution. He is linked to Case 94.
