Relive the 80s as ‘Culture Club’ is going to perform in Singapore on Dec 11

Music lovers of Singapore can relive the 80s as the iconic band of that period, Culture Club, is going to perform in the Lion City on December 11. The exciting show will be organsied at the Star Performing Arts Centre.

Since their inception at London in 1981, Culture Club has sold more than 50 million records worldwide, led by their classic hits, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, Karma Chameleon, I’ll Tumble 4 Ya.

The group is fronted by British singer/songwriter Boy George, who is universally recognised as one of the music’s iconic artists. He was recently presented with the Ivor Novello lifetime achievement award in 2015 for his contribution to the music industry.

George always charm audience with his soulful delivery, infectious dancing and candid aside between songs. He remains as a fierce showman as ever, taking the stage with the same gender-bending makeup and outre fashion that made him a global 80s icon.

The other members of the band include Roy Hay, Mikey Craig and Jon Moss.
