Over a dozen thrill-seekers endured a tough time for 30 minutes after a roller coaster malfunctioned at the Universal Studios Singapore (USS) on Thursday, November 28.

According to reports, the “Battlestar Galactica: Human vs Cylon” roller coaster stalled mid-ride, leaving one of its cars stuck on the track. At least 16 riders had to be safely guided off the ride by staff.
The incident happened around 5pm. A video shared on TikTok showed the ride stopped on a slope while it was raining.
Responding to media queries, a Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) spokesperson said the ride stopped due to a temporary technical interruptio. RWS operates Universal Studios Singapore.
RWS also confirmed that no one was injured. Safety checks were carried out soon after the incident.
The Battlestar Galactica attraction features two roller coaster options: “Cylon”, an inverted coaster, and “Human”, a seated one.
