Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) is the term which has replaced people of Indian-origin (PIO). They are eligible for an OCI card, which offers certain citizenship rights for Indians and Indian-origin people living abroad. Once you get it, you will obtain the right to enter India without applying for a visa and eligibility to find employment in India, with certain exceptions. The OCI card is valid for 10 years after issued and it allows Multiple Entry to the country.
