The Indian Government is represented in Singapore by the Indian High Commissioner to Singapore. The current Commissioner, Mr. Jawed Ashraf joined as High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Singapore in November 2016. He works on behalf of the Indian government to maintain economic and political goodwill with the Government and the people of Singapore. From 1993 to 1999, he has represented India in Frankfurt and Berlin.
