Your chance to engage with Dr Shashi Tharoor, here in Singapore. The evening will commence with Vikram Khanna, Associate Editor, The Straits Times talking to Dr Tharoor about his books, world affairs, his days in Singapore and other topics.

Considering the two gentlemen knew each other since Dr Tharoor's days in Singapore as a young UN officer, and as weekend cricket buddies, their conversation is likely to bring sudden rushes of memories making for an interesting discussion. "He (Dr Tharoor) was a cricket fiend and could rattle off statistics like batting averages and bowling figures going back decades. We played on the same team. He was a middle-order batsman and an off-break bowler." says Vikram Khanna, fondly remembering Dr Tharoor's Singapore days.

"He went off to New York, I relocated to Washington but we have stayed in touch." Vikram added.

The second half of the evening will involve a panel discussion where other luminaries will join both of them on the stage.

The audience will get a chance to engage with Dr Tharoor and ask him and other guests questions.
