Livspace targets Singapore’s USD 5 billion interiors market

Livspace is a company that aims to take the hassle out of design and renovation, and has its eyes on Singapore’s USD 5 billion interior design market.

“Singapore in and of itself is an extremely attractive market, worth about SGD 6.9 billion. And that’s a sizeable market,” said Ravindran Shanmugam, Country Head of Livspace, Singapore, adding that the availability of talent and data, as well as its easy-to-navigate regulations make it a prime location for the firm’s expansion.

Having launched in Singapore in October 2019 as the first step in its APAC expansion, Livspace is a unique platform that connects designers with customers and suppliers. It takes end-to-end ownership of housing projects and creates personalised designs for homes using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning algorithms.

In this @Work interview with Connected to India, Ravindran gives a peek into his personal life and Livspace’s aspirations for Singapore with an assurance that the platform is poised to transform the interiors industry.
