The famous Bollywood couple - Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif (not in real life!) are finally back and they are presently at the beautiful scenic location of Abu Dhabi shooting for the film Tiger Zinda Hai.
Katrina Kaif shared a picture of her and Salman on Twitter.
Earlier, she left for Abu Dhabi and posted a picture of her with director Ali Abbas Zafar and captioned it-Abu Dhabi.#TigerZindaHai. Aliiiii.
A special setup has been created for this film in Abu Dhabi. Specialised workers who created the wondrous set of Star Wars will also lend support for the Bollywood blockbuster. The shoot will continue for about 65 days and is the longest a Hindi film crew will be filming in Abu Dhabi.
Here’s what an official statement by YRF states – “Abu Dhabi will welcome the highly anticipated mega flick from Yash Raj Films, Tiger Zinda Hai for 65 days. The film will have its longest shoot schedule in the Emirate, and this is the longest a Hindi film will be filming for in Abu Dhabi. More than 150 workers will be on site for a total 100 days to create the film’s main set, many of whom helped to build the Star Wars set in Abu Dhabi in 2013. The production will also film at several other locations around Abu Dhabi before moving onto the set. A crew of 300 is expected to work on the production, with Abu Dhabi-based freelancers working alongside crew members from India, the US and the UK.”
Salman Khan was also elated to work in Abu Dhabi for the film and said, “Tiger Zinda Hai is a film of sizeable scale and context. Abu Dhabi, with a variety of locations, and gracious hosts, is ideal to shoot for a film like this one. I hope that the entire unit will enjoy our time here.”
Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to the 2012 hit movie – Ek Tha Tiger. The fact that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are teaming up again has got fans excited! When the first look of the two was out, fans couldn’t contain excitement at seeing the two together after five years.
