Reimagine the night at Singapore Night Festival 2019 as the Bras Basah.Bugis district transforms into an ethereal wonderland.

Look forward to an exciting line-up of arts, heritage and cultural experiences brought together by partners and stakeholders in the district.

2. Sri Krishna Janmashtami

Sri Krishna Janmashtami (birth of Lord Krishna) is celebrated gorgeously in Sri Krishna Mandir on Janmashtami day. Hundreds of visitors and guests flood the venue, with a variety of cultural programmes are scheduled to entertain the guests.

A maha-arati is performed at midnight and Sri Sri Radha Madana Mohan will give darshana. The devotees will then honor anukalpa-prasada (Ekadasi Prasada) after midnight.

3. The World's Loneliest Bookstore

The World's Loneliest Bookstore explores the implications of a post-apocalyptic world. If the world was reduced to its minimum viable population, would there still be a need for books? Would anyone want to visit a bookstore while facing the issue of just surviving? Would this make it the world's loneliest bookstore in existence?

Secondhand books will be on sale, and there will be art installations all around.

4. Baybeats 2019

The biggest music festival of its kind in Singapore and the region, Baybeats  presents a fist-pumping line-up showcasing prominent Singapore and international acts.

This year, rock out to an eclectic array of sounds from indie rock to hip hop and more. Six bands from the Baybeats Budding Bands mentorship programme will also be making their debut.
