"Now, we don't have to wait for the male protagonist to be cast before deciding on who to get in as a female character in the film. It doesn't happen that way anymore," said Taapsee Pannu in her second interview with Connected to India.
Talking about the upcoming potboiler Badla, she was joined by the Director of the film Sujoy Ghosh in a special edition of Spotlight from Mumbai.
Sujoy Ghosh has the credit of introducing powerful woman characters like Vidya Bagchi in the film Kahani.
Interestingly Taapsee was cast to play the lead role in Badla, which was initially meant for a male actor.
