Ranveer Singh and Vani Kapoor sizzled at the red carpet during the world premiere of their romantic film ‘Befikre’ at the ongoing Dubai International Film Festival.
“These fans are my biggest strength. We live for this,” Ranveer said.
Ranveer Singh was given a grand welcome as his fans screamed his name all the way. The actor too obliged his fans by posing for numerous selfies with them. He kept swinging back and forth between the fan pit and the press area. The mood was euphoric and nobody could have dampen the spirit of the Befikre duo.
Asked if he was worried about the fate of the film, he said: “Why worry? I’m befikre (carefree). Never judge. Be happy.”
It is Ranveer Singh’s third visit and Vani Kapoor’s debut at Dubai International Film Festival.
“It’s amazing that we are premiering it in Dubai. I would love to hear about the reactions of people from different parts of the world. And, it’s one of my favourite cities,” said Kapoor. “I can’t wait for people from various cultures to see Befikre.”
Shot entirely in Paris, Befikre is being labelled as the most progressive take on modern day relationships to date from Yash Raj Films.
Befikre meaning carefree in English is a free spirited, contemporary love story of Dharam (Ranveer Singh) and Shyra (Vaani Kapoor), who find love in an impulsive, engaging series of experiences. Doused in the spirit of Paris, it celebrates love and focuses on living life to the fullest.
