An English Literature graduated from the Delhi University, Garima has actively taken part in social welfare forums during her graduation. She holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Masters of Philosophy in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
She has also assisted a Japanese Anthropologist in research studies on Mumbai sex workers and their livelihood. Her interest in social well-being of women made her complete an internship program in the villages of Rajasthan. Apart from this, she is involved in various other social welfare activities including blood donation camps, education and development of rural women, etc.
Garima lives in Delhi with her family. She enjoys reading, driving and road trips.
