As the culinary arts section of Temple of Fine Arts (TFA), Annalakshmi runs on the concept of “Eat as you want, Give as you Feel”. The restaurant is operated by volunteer staff who joyfully perform an assortment of activities, including cooking, serving, clearing tables, dish washing and taking orders.

At Annalakshmi, as the name goes – food is revered. Anna means “food” and Lakshmi is the presiding deity. The food served here is therefore “Prasad” – a sanctified offering – and dining here is a cultural experience.
