To seek feedback from the public, SBS Transit of Singapore is launching 'Commuter Chat' regarding the quality of transport services being offered and the demand of commuters.
Commuter Chat will be organised on August 24 at Ang Mo Kio Interchange near the main entrance of Ang Mo Kio Hub from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
The purpose of the chat is to gather feedback from the commuters regarding their bus travel experiences and seek suggestions for improving their journeys.
Initially, the feedback session will be conducted quarterly and from January next year onwards, there will be monthly sessions. These exchanges will be organised on the fourth Thursday of the month at selected bus interchanges.
Ivan Tan, SBS Transit's senior vice president and head of bus operations, said, “The sessions would allow the operator to meet and engage our commuters right where they are.”
He added, “Our managers, who are on the back-end such as in operations, training and engineering, will also get the opportunity to meet our commuters and know first-hand how their work can have an impact on the travel experience.”
