The colourful three-day 5th International Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) T20 2017 tournament drew many of the city-state's prominent residents to the Padang Cricket Ground this weekend, including H.E. Mr Jawed Ashraf, High Commissioner of India, Singapore.

Mr Ashraf was present for the final on Sunday, and we were fortunate enough to catch up with him and ask him a few questions about the event. He opened up to us about the history of the ground and the club. "I'm very happy to see some good cricket being played here in Singapore," he added.
