UAE Crown Prince announces ‘Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Global Prosperity’ at business summit

To recognise talent that brings prosperity to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces launched ‘The Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Global Prosperity’, on the sidelines of the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit which is taking place in Abu Dhabi.

The annual award will recognise industrial innovation that serves humanity, and contributes to the prosperity of the world economy.

Sheikh Mohamed said, “Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, is contributing in supporting innovation culture locally and globally, which led him to became a prime example of a leader who motivate his society to thrive,”

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also said that naming the award after Sheikh Mohammed has been done because the award symbolises someone who creates hope and happiness, and was the first one to launch a cabinet for the fourth industrial revolution, placing the UAE as the first country in the world to focus on the future and to be one of the pioneer countries in this domain.
