The makers of the Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq released a gripping two-minute trailer this morning. The film marks late filmmaker BR Chopra's grandson Abhay's directorial debut in a remake of his grandfather's 1969 thriller Ittefaq

The trailer was launched digitally by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, who have collaborated as producers along with BR Chopra Films.

The trailer jumps back and forth between the dual intense narratives and leaves one curious to find out the culprit behind the mysterious murders. The suspects – Vikram (Siddharth Malhotra), an acclaimed writer, and Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), a young homemaker, have different narratives about the events of that fateful night. Both the stories seem plausible but there can be only one truth. Akshaye Khanna plays the role of Inspector Dev whose intense interrogations and stern demeanour adds to the brewing tension.

Ittefaq releases on November 3, 2017, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna. It is co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and BR Chopra films.
