PM Modi meets American business leaders in Washington

Right after India Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Lisbon, Portugal, he arrives in the United States in the second leg of his three-nation tour for his first bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump.

PM Modi met top US business leaders at a round table conference in Washington DC. Trump will host PM Modi for a “working dinner” which is the first for a foreign leader at the White House in his five-month term. PM Modi will visit Netherlands after concluding his US visit.

This is PM Modi's fourth visit to the US, whereas in his earlier visits, he forged a close relationship with former US President Barack Obama and called the US "an indispensable partner".

The last destination of PM Modi is the Netherlands.
