Sharing his joy with a Dubai based newspaper, Krishnan said, “I just went blank for a minute when I got the call from Big Ticket. I still cannot believe it has happened.”

He said that though he is a regular buyer of lottery tickets, he has never won anything before.

He presently earns about AED 6,000 (approx. Rs 1,09,000) per month. When asked about how he will spend the enormous amount of money, he replied that his first priority will be to pay off his housing loans back in India.

His wife, who works as an administrative assistant in a private firm, also backed him up.

Sreeraj said that he does not have any extraordinary plans as of now and wants to let the excitement settle down.
