1. Singapore Design Week

This year’s Singapore Design Week promises to keep everyone happy with its range of designs. The major highlights include its signature event -Innovation by Design and the anchoring SingaPlural show. With over 100 design programmes and events, the mega event has a lot in store for every taste.

2. OFC Social Market #8

Open Farm Community’s Social Market is back with more than 30 shops hawking local and artisanal products, and delightful handicrafts. This time, it has activities for both little ones and adults, such as screening of yoga documentary My Dharma and gardening workshops by Edible Garden City. You can also relish the cocktails made with freshly plucked ingredients.

3. HSBC Women’s Champions

The best woman golfers are set to return to Sentosa Golf Club, so get your argyle socks and caps ready. The organisers of the HSBC Women’s Champions are spicing things up by turning the competition into a bona fide festival. A little away from the usual set up, local and international musicians from South Korea and the USA are set to take the stage.

4. LAND with NO SUN III: Song of the Skies

A reflection of man’s deep impact on the natural environment, this concert brings the relentless consumption of material goods and the resultant accumulation of waste. It is featuring original music, story by award-winning composer Tze Toh, combining choral music, Indian music, jazz, film score and classical music.

5. Sunset Sessions with Nickodemus (USA)

Step things up with the party-pusher that’s Nikodemus: the Bronx-born DJ’s incorporates organic, afro and urban dance music in his live sets, alongside popular remixes for the likes of Bob Marley, Billy Holiday and Nina Simone. Get set for a night of music without borders, supported by DJs Brendon, Joshua P, Ramesh and Sivanesh.
