First MUJI flagship store in SEA to open at Plaza Sing on July 21

Japanese retail chain MUJI will be opening its first flagship store in Southeast Asia at Plaza Singapura on July 21.

This is the 11th, and largest, MUJI outlet in Singapore, with a store size spanning over 1,896 square meters.  It will also be home to Café & Meal MUJI which can seat 70 diners, according to a press statement on July 4, 2017.

This flagship store will reveal original concepts adapted from MUJI Japan and serve as a community ground for people “to come together, explore design and arts ideas, and experience various learning anchors.”

There will be an open space at the outlet dedicated to educational activities such as exhibition, gallery, creative workshops and for hosting talks.


MUJI’s flagship store will be located at #01-10 to 17 in Plaza Singapura. Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm daily.
