Around 11,000 participants from 50 countries are going to gather in Singapore this week between November 14-18 for the inaugural FinTech Festival.
This week-long event, along with the Lab’s Crawl, is the world’s largest fintech event so far. The Lab Crawl will see over 20 banks and financial services firms open their innovation labs for public demonstrations and tours as the first key programme of the festival.
Singapore houses one of the insurer's three main innovation labs in the world, alongside London and Toronto.
The FinTech Festival was initiated and organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to create a platform for financial institutions, fintech startups and investors to network and explore new innovations that can make financial services more efficient in the digital era.
